MobileIron, a leader in security and management of mobile applications, devices and content, announces significant growth in 2013 with revenues of over $ 100 million. The company also announced that Todd Ford has joined the company as CFO. Ford has extensive experience in financial and operational activities with large public and private joint-stock companies. He will report directly to Bob Tinker, CEO of MobileIron.
Mobile devices are rapidly becoming the main computing platform for the enterprise. (CMVP). MobileIron has joined the PCI Security Standards Council to contribute to the development of new payment security standards. MobileIron has also been selected as a subcontractor for the US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to manage mobile devices.
Expanding the ecosystem for mobile applications and technology solutions: MobileIron’s AppConnect partnership program has ended the year with more than 50 AppConnect-enabled applications on the market, including IBM Notes Traveler. Customers can now provide their employees with a wide selection of best-in-class mobile applications by protecting and managing these applications with MobileIron. MobileIron also launched several key integrations with core technology solutions for enterprises, including the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and ServiceNow for employee self-service.
